Mixed media drawings, paintings and ceramics.
The repeated image of a tree both as a ceramic, painted, printed, stitched or collaged image is both powerful and suggestive, touching on ideas of permanency, age and vulnerability. The ceramic vessels have the potential to hold and also promise to contain, ideas, thoughts and hope. At the moment I am working on several pieces and medias concurrently and feel that they are all growing out of each other unconsciously. My current work incorporates landscape by recording a moment through memory and poetry.
